Frequently Asked Questions

How do I unlock my apps?

Tap the paused app, allow camera access, then hold the yoga pose shown on screen until it completes. You’ll be unlocked for your chosen time.

How do I grant or fix Screen Time permission?

In PauseHer's Settings, there is an option to grant or fix Screen Time access. Tap it and follow the prompts. Or on your iPhone: Settings → Screen Time—enable Screen Time and give PauseHer access.

How do I choose which apps and websites to pause?

In PauseHer: Settings → select the apps and websites (e.g. Instagram, TikTok). You need Screen Time permission first. Change the list anytime.

Why does PauseHer need camera access?

Only for on-device pose detection to guide your yoga unlock. No video or pose data is sent to our servers.

How do I restore my subscription?

In PauseHer: SettingsRestore purchases. It restores if you bought on the same Apple ID.

How do I cancel my subscription?

In PauseHer: SettingsManage subscription. That opens Apple’s page where you cancel. You keep access until the billing period ends. Refunds: reportaproblem.apple.com. Issues: support@pauseher.app.

Can I turn off PauseHer or take a break?

Remove an app from your pause list in Settings for unrestricted access. Re-add it anytime. No app-wide off switch.

The camera doesn’t detect my pose. What should I do?

Check camera access: Settings → PauseHer → Camera. Use good lighting, face the camera, full body in frame. Hold the pose steadily. If it still fails, force-quit the app and reopen.

Is my data private?

Yes. Pose detection runs on your device only; we don’t get video or pose data. See our Privacy Policy.
