1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the PauseHer mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, share, and retain your data (including face data, camera, pose, and Screen Time). If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App immediately.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use PauseHer. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

3. App Features & Permissions

PauseHer uses Apple’s Screen Time (Family Controls) to pause selected apps and your device camera with on-device pose detection (Apple Vision) for the yoga unlock feature. You grant the necessary permissions when prompted. Pose detection runs on your device; we do not store or transmit camera or body pose data to our servers.

No Guarantee of Blocking: The App utilizes iOS Family Controls to pause selected applications. We do not guarantee that the App will block 100% of selected usage due to operating system limitations or bugs. PauseHer is an accountability tool, not a strict security or parental control device.

4. Subscriptions and Purchases

PauseHer offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions that provide access to premium features.

  • Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current subscription period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscriptions at any time in your App Store account settings after purchase.
  • All financial transactions and refunds are handled exclusively by Apple through the App Store, in accordance with Apple’s payment policies.
  • If you change devices, you may restore your purchases through the Restore Purchases option within the app.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the App in any way that violates applicable law.
  • Attempt to circumvent app pause, unlock, or subscription logic.
  • Use the App for any unauthorized commercial purposes.

6. Medical & Physical Injury Waiver

PauseHer provides yoga poses as part of its app-unlock mechanism. You acknowledge that physical exercise involves inherent risks. By using PauseHer, you assume all risks associated with performing the poses. PauseHer is not responsible for any physical injury, property damage, or health issues that arise from using the App. Always ensure your environment is safe and consult a medical professional if you have health concerns.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PauseHer and its creators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the App, including use of Screen Time, camera, or subscription features.

8. Apple EULA Disclaimer

This agreement is between you and PauseHer, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, nor for providing any maintenance or support services.
